If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Boggs Pond Dam, and there's whitewater on East Aspetuck River for all you adrenaline junkies. High temperatures at Boggs Pond throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Boggs Pond fall into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.

| | This is a popular site for folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, and you can stay the night at Mountain Workshop. Round Mountain is beautiful and can be distinguished from Boggs Pond; needless to say Sawmill River is a charming stream that is worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. visiting Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Tenmile. Just can't get enough of Boggs Pond. The snow is good at Thunder Ridge, and a brilliant site
close by is Devils Den. So much amusing stuff to do at Boggs Pond, so little time. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a tremendous adventure. After a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites Danbury
is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and a lake close by is Corner Pond. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Boggs Pond; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Boggs Pond
is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Kettletown State Park is a brilliant place to camp nearby, and Danbury Plaza Hotel is a good site to get some rest.
