there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Munyan Trail. This place, Bog Meadow Reservoir, it clearly has so much outdoors fun stuff. Why not explore Acme Pond Dam while you're here; why not a little side visit to Slater Brook.
You'll stumble on a beautiful lake called Middle Reservoir near Bog Meadow Reservoir. For the period of the months of summer highs here at Bog Meadow Reservoir get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The
cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bog Meadow Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Clear and Branch, and you'll meet
a lot of folks from Willimantic here. If you come at the right time of year, Quinebaug River offers some glorious whitewater; if you need a spot to stay Americas Best Value Inn Brooklyn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites Dayville, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Border Trail.
