If you go for the outdoors, you'll love Bog Meadow Pond. Everybody loves Kent Falls State Park, and there are other sites here than Bog Meadow Pond, for example Hatch Pond. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Bog Meadow Pond. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's; during       the dark hours in the winter at Bog Meadow Pond temperatures descend to the 10's. Bog Meadow Pond is a good place of normal rain; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. A visit to Mudge Pond Town Beach in the vicinity of Bog Meadow Pond is always a good idea, and do take a hike on the Indian Trail. There's                  so much to do here at Bog Meadow Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Housatonic Meadows State Park is a delightful place for that, and why not head up to Ski Butternut and strap some skis to your feet. Some of the water nearby flows, like Bog Meadow Brook, and the scenery at Ford Pond Dam is charming. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Deming Hill is easily distinguished from Bog Meadow Pond, and paddling on Housatonic River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Bog Meadow Pond you'll meet some folks from Torrington for sure; after a long day outdoors Sharon Motor Lodge is a perfect place to spend a night or two. Have a great hiking adventure along the Elbow Trail. Lakes? Sure, Ford Pond is close by.
