A tour to Marvin Beach in the neighborhood of Blanchard Pond is always a good idea, and dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton Norwalk. You without doubt have to pop by Sherwood Island State Park while you're here at Blanchard Pond, and swamps don’t sound that nice but Carter Swamp right next door to Blanchard Pond is quite nice. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Thunder Ridge is in the vicinity       of Blanchard Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Norwalk River. Blanchard Pond is a nice location to visit for more than one day, Sail Caribbean is a nice location to camp nearby; there's some flowing water nearby, Belden Hill Brook is a stream you can explore while here. Blanchard Pond regularly gets a good deal of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the                  least amount of precipitation. The friendly people of Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk like to hang out nearby; South Norwalk Reservoir Dam is an interesting thing to check out. Having a tremendous time at Blanchard Pond is trouble-free. Mountain Workshop is a magnificent local campground, and if you need a spot to stay Courtyard By Marriott Norwalk is a brilliant choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not go to Guthrie Pond next to Blanchard Pond; you have to positively stop at lovely Rowayton Community Beach if you're here. During the summer at Blanchard Pond highs are regularly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blanchard Pond are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Wardwell Pond is a good lake close to Blanchard Pond, and if you're a golfer then a good nearby course is Oak Hills Golf Course. So much fun stuff close to Blanchard Pond, completely mind-boggling.
