Pond, and Woodbury has fine slopes and a friendly staff. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville. Black Rock Pond is a quite wet place usually with a good deal of
rainfall; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Black Rock Pond. If you need
a place to stay Courtyard By Marriott Waterbury is a good choice, and the Mattatuck Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Black Rock Pond Dam is a picturesque spot near Black Rock Pond, and enjoy a round of golf at Fairview Farm
Golf Course. The peak of Black Rock can be observed from Black Rock Pond, and camping is available at Black Rock State Park. Don't leave Black Rock Pond without going to Black Rock State Park; camping at Branchbrook Campground
is always a good experience. People from Torrington love to come to Black Rock Pond, and Bantam River is a great whitewater spot close by.
