You're possibly addicted to lakes, Morton Pond is one of those nearby, and the sight of Black Rock is gorgeous. This site is unbeatable, just look at all the fun things to do in close proximity to Black Rock Lake. A magnificent nearby hotel is Courtyard Waterbury Downtown, and in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Bantam River. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little trip to Branch Brook while you're here at Black

Black Rock Lake is right by the Mattatuck Trail, and Mattatuck State Forest is a wonderful local forest. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Shepaug River.
