Black Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. You could also pop by Black Pond if you're here at Black Pond; it's close by; Black Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Eagle Feather is a splendid local campground. What would winter be without some skiing at Powder Ridge; close by you find the Mattabesset Trail which is a good hiking trail. A delightful close by hotel is Candlewood Suites Hartford/Meriden, Ct,

| | and paddling on Hammonasset River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail. Just can't get enough of Black Pond. Nearby lakes? Sure, High Hill Pond is in the vicinity of Black Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Four Points By Sheraton Meriden is a splendid choice. Very wonderful scenery and wonderful skiing is what you get at Mount Southington, and Wadsworth Falls State Park is a glorious site to take a look at. | |

Indian Springs Golf Club is a golf course in close proximity to Black Pond, and a good place to camp here at Black Pond is Little City Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you fancy a little side tour, try Preston Notch, and
on a pretty day you get a good vista of Beseck Mountain from Black Pond. So many exciting things to do at Black Pond, so little time. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Roaring Brook River, and there's always Black Pond Dam to explore
close to Black Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Black Pond you'll almost certainly meet some folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford; while here here do explore close by Dossin Park Beach. North Branch Spoon Shop
Brook is a great site to have a look at, and going for a hike on the Washington Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Black Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently May, that's the
one that rains the most while February is generally the driest month. All through the long summer days at Black Pond highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Black Pond overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
