     In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Salmon River; if you want to visit some interesting stuff, visit Cranberry Bottoms. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Cedar Ridge Golf Course not far from Black Hall Pond, and you're sure to encounter some smiling people from Norwich-New London here. Black Hall Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Rocky Neck State Park is a great local campground.  
   Lakes? Sure, Upper Millpond is close at hand. Black Hall Pond is a pretty wet place regularly with a large amount of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
It's a magnificent idea to pop by Broad Swamp Brook, it's in the vicinity of Black Hall Pond, and at Rogers Lake Dam close to Black Hall Pond there are some interesting things to see. This lake is so wonderful. Rocky Neck State Park is both glorious
 
               and stunning, and it's right next door to Black Hall Pond. There's so much to do here at Black Hall Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Aces High RV Park is a good location for that. And that's not all you can do here at Black Hall Pond. A nice beach close to Black Hall Pond is Poverty Island Beach, and if you need a site to stay Saybrook Point Inn And Spa is a good choice.
Summer at Black Hall Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Black Hall Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Rogers Lake, and the peak of Becket Hill can be made out from Black Hall Pond. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Black Hall Pond has it all.
Soundview Beach is a beach near Black Hall Pond that you can take a look at, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Old Saybrook is a great location to spend a night or two.

I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow....

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return.
