Wadsworth Falls State Park is both perfect and wonderful, and it's in the neighborhood of Bishops Pond, and if you come at the right time of year, Roaring Brook River offers some brilliant whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Four Points By Sheraton Meriden; there's some attention-grabbing stuff to make out at Bishops Pond Dam near Bishops       Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not stop by Black Pond near Bishops Pond, and do take a hike on the Mattabesset Trail. If you need a place to stay Candlewood Suites Hartford/Meriden, Ct is a great choice, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Washington Trail. Lots of precipitation falls at Bishops Pond; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest.                  The skiing at Mount Southington is good, and Beseck Mountain is wonderful and can be observed from here. This is no site for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There are other places here than Bishops Pond, for example High Hill Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Hammonasset River. High temperatures at Bishops Pond during the warm days of summer are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bishops Pond. During your spree to Bishops Pond you'll meet some folks from New Haven-Milford for sure, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Dossin Park Beach. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Bishops Pond has it all. Going for a hike along the Mattabesset Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and camping is available at Little City Campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Powder Ridge is near Bishops Pond, and a great location to camp here at Bishops Pond is Camp Eagle Feather.
