If you are in New Haven county it's always a good idea to stop by Bishops Pond. For the duration of the warmest time of the year here at Bishops Pond, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Bishops Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Bishops Pond you get a splendid vista of Baldwin Hill. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Konolds Pond is one of those close by; you can have a pleasant hiking adventure along the Regicides Trail.
Econo
Lodge Conference Center is a splendid site to get some rest, and Mount Southington is a very popular ski area nearby. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Bishops Pond. During your
stay at Bishops Pond do explore close by Sea Bluff Beach, and if you came to camp National Computer Camps is a great place to do that.
Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge West Haven, and since you're here you can take a hike
along the Quinnipiac Trail. Bishops Pond generally gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here
at Bishops Pond. West Rock Ridge State Park is a glorious spot, and Maltby Lakes North Dam is a beautiful site, beyond doubt worth visiting.
