High temperatures at Bishops Pond through the months of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Bishops Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Mount Southington       and strap some skis to your feet; magnificent hiking is available along the Regicides Trail. Near Bishops                  Pond you stumble on a golf course called Orange Hills Country Club, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from New Haven-Milford for sure. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Here at Bishops Pond you can catch a glimpse of Baldwin Hill; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Prospect Beach. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things close to Bishops Pond. A nice close by hotel is Econo Lodge Conference Center; a day on the slopes of Woodbury is just what you need. Bishops Pond usually gets much rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month of the year is February. Bishops Pond is not the only spot close by, Konolds Pond is a close by lake, and you can hit the beach if you want, Sea Bluff Beach is practically right here.
