Sure, Konolds Pond is in close proximity; the Quinnipiac Trail offers hiking at its best. For the period of the summer highs here at Bishops Pond get into the 80's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are typically in the 30's; overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Bishops Pond tend to be in the 10's. After a long       day outdoors Econo Lodge West Haven is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and Bishops Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Branchbrook Campground is a delightful local campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area right next door to Bishops Pond has to offer.
