If you want to hit the beach, Jacobs Public Beach is in the neighborhood; Guilford Lakes Golf Course is a golf course close by. Throughout the summertime highs here at Bishops Pond reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bishops Pond sink into the 10's. Go for a hike on the Washington Trail; if the weather is pretty, you obtain a fine view of Hungry Hill from Bishops Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
