a tremendous adventure. Bishops Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; through April this area sees the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. If you want to hit the beach, Jacobs Public Beach is in
the neighborhood; Guilford Lakes Golf Course is a golf course close by. Throughout the summertime highs here at Bishops Pond reach the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. During
the winter highs are in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Bishops Pond sink into the 10's. Go for a hike on the Washington Trail; if the weather is pretty, you obtain a fine view of Hungry Hill
from Bishops Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, The Cove is right nearby, and a visit to Chatfield Hollow State Park is a pleasant idea. This lake is so wonderful. People from New Haven-Milford love to come to Bishops Pond, and Clark Point is in the neighborhood and always glorious to visit.

Maltby Lakes are made up of three lakes located off of Route 34 in West Haven. The permit also gives you access to Lake Saltonstall and Lake Chamberlain for fishing.
