This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a scenic lake called Fitchville Pond near Bishop Pond. There's so much to do here at Bishop Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Odetah is a great site for that. Float down the rapids of Salmon River in a kayak. Don't miss out on a brilliant swamp; Dark Swamp is right here at Bishop Pond; after a long day       outdoors Comfort Suites Norwich is a brilliant site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Natchaug River; Bishop Pond is a place with many visitors from Norwich-New London. Lakes are such peaceful places, why not explore Tadma Pond near Bishop Pond, and a trip here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Stoddard Hill State Park. On a beautiful day you obtain a vista of Bargy Ledges from Bishop Pond, and close                  by you locate the Narragansett Trail which is a great hiking trail. So many cool things near Bishop Pond, truly tremendous. Austin Brook is a perfect spot to stop at, and Bishop Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Odetah Campground is a great local campground. Bishop Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; all through the month of November you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. Summertime highs at Bishop Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's.
