gets a great deal of water; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest of the months is February. All through the long summer days here at Birdsall Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's, and the night is a little
colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while Birdsall Pond nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's. There's a brilliant forest next to Birdsall Pond called Mattatuck State Forest, and the peak of Black Rock can be spotted from Birdsall Pond.
