This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Bingham Pond has to offer, you can camp at Taconic State Park Copake Falls, and don't leave Bingham Pond without first going for a hike along the Northrop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is Undermountain       Golf Course, and a perfect close by hotel is Sharon Motor Lodge. There's always Riga Lake Dam to visit in close proximity to Bingham Pond, and if you're here, you could also check out picturesque Riga Lake. Gotta ski! Catamount is a great site to do that. From a rain point of view Bingham Pond is a quite normal spot; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you want a good time in the                  great outdoors, just come on down to Bingham Pond. There's magnificent hiking along the Elbow Trail, and get dripping wet paddling on Bash Bish Brook. You're sure to encounter some nice folks from Hudson here; you can stay the night at Taconic State Park Rudd Pond. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Bingham Pond. Mt. Washington State Forest is a charming location any time of year, and lovely scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Ski Butternut. Go for a hike on the Indian Trail, and Brassi Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out. At Bingham Pond all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's; overnight lows at Bingham Pond during the wintertime usually fall into the 10's.
