Little Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and if you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Rocky Neck State Park when you're here at Big Pond is a tremendous idea, and of course Armstrong Brook is a lovely stream       that is worth checking out. Lots of precipitation falls at Big Pond; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. During the warm days of summer here at Big Pond, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Big Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. Yeah, come                  here to Big Pond for a pleasant time. Why not camp at Camp Niantic By The Atlantic while you're here at Big Pond; you might also want to pay a visit to Hatchett Reef since you're here at Big Pond. Amon Hill can be seen from Big Pond, and a fine close by hotel is Americas Best Value Inn/Niantic. So many entertaining things to do here at Big Pond, too magnificent to be true. Days Inn Niantic is a fine site to get some rest; camping is available at Rocky Neck State Park. Big Pond is not far at all from Norwich-New London; if you get bored of Big Pond you could also explore nearby Swan Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
