You're sure to come across some good people from Norwich-New London here; needless to say, this is a nice region for people who like lakes, Spencer Pond is a lake in the vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. Salmon River is a good whitewater spot next to Bibbens Pond, and the view of pretty Babcock Hill is wonderful. The high level of rainfall makes Bibbens Pond a quite wet site; the month with most of the rain is November; February is the month with the least

| | moisture. Summertime highs at Bibbens Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Bibbens Pond. If you need a location to stay Best Western Regent Inn is a splendid choice; unsurprisingly, everyone loves Mansfield Hollow State Park.
