Many people like to go to Bevins Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bevins Pond; Mattabesset Trail is a great local trail, and swamps like Bear Swamp are fun to stop by. While you're here at Bevins Pond you have to take a look at Arrow Point. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Pocotopaug Lake Dam, and Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury is a splendid location

| | to get some rest. Summertime highs at Bevins Pond frequently tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Bevins Pond tend to be in the 10's. Do go to Loos Pond near Bevins Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and a quick spree to Hales Brook is positively a nice idea. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Bevins Pond has it all. | |

You'll hit upon a beautiful lake called Pocotopaug Lake near Bevins Pond, and don't leave without popping by Hurd State Park. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Roaring Brook River offers some pleasant
whitewater, and Blackledge Country Club is a nice golf course close by. The peak of Baker Hill can be spotted from Bevins Pond; why not take a refreshing hike along the Washington Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at
Powder Ridge in close proximity, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Salmon River. If you need a site to stay Inn At Middletown is a nice choice, and Markham Meadows Campgrounds is a wonderful local campground. If you came for
an overnight stay Nelson's Family Campground is a wonderful place to camp, and if you're stopping by from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, you won't be the only one. The high level of rainfall makes Bevins Pond a relatively wet place; May is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
