The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Ward Spring, and Beseck Mountain is easy to spot from Beseck Lake. Beseck Lake Dam is a site that is next to Beseck Lake; close by you discover the Washington Trail which is a good hiking trail. Paddling on Hammonasset River is so much fun, and what would winter       be without some skiing at Mount Southington. Beseck Lake commonly gets much rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Why not camp at Camp Eagle Feather while you're here at Beseck Lake; Asmun Brook is in the vicinity of Beseck Lake and is always a diversion to pop by. This lake is so wonderful.
