There's so much to do here at Bendels Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Mountain Workshop is a great site for that. Bendels Pond is a rather wet place regularly with a lot of rain; through the month of May you get the most rain around here, and January meanwhile is the driest month. If the weather is lovely, you obtain a splendid vista of Webbs Hill from Bendels Pond, and a lake close by       is North Stamford Reservoir. If you need a site to stay Stamford Plaza Hotel and CC is a splendid choice; if you're here you can play some golf at E Gaynor Brennan Municipal Golf Course. Now, you may think that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Bendels Pond. If you came to camp Soundview Sports is a magnificent place to do that; Bendels Pond is not the only place close by, McManus Lake is a close by lake. If you like skiing, you're in luck;                  Thunder Ridge is in the neighborhood of Bendels Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Bendels Pond wouldn’t be complete without a spree to nearby Caumsett State Park, and it's a good idea to have a look at Haviland Brook. Stamford Suites is a great spot to get some rest, and on a fine day it's a great idea to spend the day at Cummings Park Beach. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Bendels Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bendels Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
