On a wonderful day you can visit Buck Meadow, a swamp close to Belleview Lake, and don't leave without visiting Black Rock State Park. Lots of rainfall falls at Belleview Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Belleview Lake has to offer, you can camp at Black Rock State Park, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Farmington River - Riverton. For the period of the summertime at Belleview Lake highs are mostly in the 70's, and the night is slightly cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. Lake and you like golf, you can explore Highland Golf Course, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville. The good folks of New Haven-Milford
like to hang out nearby, and you can observe Bucks Hill from Belleview Lake. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Mount Southington; you can stay the night at Gentile's Camp Ground. The snow is pleasant
at Woodbury, also Belleview Lake Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Naugatuck Trail, and if you get bored of Belleview Lake you could also visit close by Lower Fulton Park Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
