In Connecticut there are many beautiful lakes, Bell Reservoir is one of them. Mount Southington has good slopes and a friendly staff; Indian Reef is a brilliant spot to spend some time. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Bell Reservoir has to offer. This is a popular place for people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, and Roaring Brook River is a great whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. and do take a hike on the Washington Trail. A delightful place to camp here at Bell Reservoir is Camp Eagle Feather, and Lily Pond is a tremendous lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you don’t have a problem getting wet,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River, and Wethersfield Cove is not far at all. Summer at Bell Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime
comes with highs in the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Bell Reservoir temperatures drop to the 10's. The top of Hang-Dog Hill is easily seen from Bell Reservoir, and Dinosaur State Park is a magnificent
place to stretch your legs a bit. This lake is so wonderful. And that's not all you can do here at Bell Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Bell Pond is close by, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mattabesset Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Wethersfield, and hey, Beaver Brook is a magnificent local stream.
