Connecticut has many beautiful lakes and Bell Pond is one of them. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the splendid skiing at Powder Ridge. Lakes are great; Lily Pond is a lake that's right next door to Bell Pond. Not far from Bell Pond, you'll locate Keney Park Pond which is a wonderful lake, and the Washington Trail offers hiking at its best. Bell Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Eagle Feather is a great local campground, and don't leave Bell Pond without first going for a hike along the Metacomet Trail. Hartford Downtown is a delightful place to get some rest, and you'll meet a lot of people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here. Bell Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. Playing golf is lots
of fun at Keney Golf Course, and camping at Nelson's Family Campground is always a nice experience. This lake is so wonderful. Keeney Point is in close proximity to Bell Pond and is a delightful location to explore, and there's
whitewater on Roaring Brook River for all you adrenaline kick people. Throughout the summer months here at Bell Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are
generally in the 30's with temperatures at Bell Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. You can run the rapids of Farmington River near Bell Pond, and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch is an interesting thing to
observe while you're here. What a place this is for outdoors people. Clay Banks Bar is a good location to explore, and there's great hiking along the Mattabesset Trail.
