This place, Beetle Bung Pond, it clearly has so much outdoors amusing stuff. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Southington since you're here, and going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Playing golf is lots of fun at Golf Club at Oxford, and hiking along the Naugatuck       Trail is good fun. This is a magnificent region for people who like lakes. Fenn Pond is a lake close by, and Beetle Bung Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Black Rock State Park is a great spot to camp nearby. All through the summertime highs here at Beetle Bung Pond get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime                  temperatures at Beetle Bung Pond drop into the 10's. The panorama of Bedlam Hill from Beetle Bung Pond is beautiful; swamps don’t sound that perfect but Cedar Swamp close to Beetle Bung Pond is pretty perfect.
