     If you need a place to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a great choice; Park Pond Dike is not far at all from Beecher Pond. All through the warmest time of the year at Beecher Pond temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Beecher Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. Stay the night at Laurel Crest Campground, and since you're here, you  
   could also pop by wonderful Lake Winchester. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Beecher Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Burr Pond State Park is a nice place for that, and a day on the slopes of Ski Sundown is just what you need.
This lake is so wonderful. Grant Hill is painless to spot from Beecher Pond, and you can run the rapids of Still River. John A. Minetto State Park is both pleasant and charming, and it's close to
 
               Beecher Pond, and Park Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Yankee Pedlar Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest, and Grant Swamp is a swamp in the neighborhood of Beecher Pond.
Some nearby water includes Beckley Pond Brook; why not head up to Mohawk Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Going for a hike on the Mattatuck Trail is always a great adventure. And that's not all you can do here at Beecher Pond. The Mattatuck Trail is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Beecher Pond, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Wild Cat Trail.
You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area in close proximity to Beecher Pond has to offer. There's whitewater on Sandy Brook River for all you adrenaline kick people; lots of folks from Torrington come here. Beecher Pond gets lots of water; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest.
