Red Carpet Inn and Suites Meriden is a good location to get some rest, and a great beach nearby is Dossin Park Beach. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and Wadsworth Falls State Park is a splendid place to go. It's a brilliant idea to have a look at Cathole Brook, it's near Beaver Pond, and tremendous hiking is available along the Washington Trail. All the outdoors

There's magnificent hiking along the Mattabesset Trail, and a wonderful location for whitewater paddling is Roaring Brook River. There's always Beaver Pond Dam to visit close to Beaver Pond; a golf course nearby is Hunter Memorial Golf Course. At Beaver Pond through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. | |

High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Beaver Pond during the wintertime typically drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that
you need to camp here for a while, Little City Campground is a good site for that, and here at Beaver Pond you can observe Cathole Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Silver Lake is in the neighborhood of Beaver
Pond, and don't leave Beaver Pond without first going for a hike along the Mattabesset Trail. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Mount Southington, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Farmington River
