Do stop by Beaver Pond while you're in this part of Connecticut. If you're visiting Beaver Pond from New Haven-Milford, you won't be the only one, and there's good hiking along the Mattabesset Trail. Beaver Pond Dam is a gorgeous spot in the neighborhood of Beaver Pond, and get your heart beating on the wonderful whitewater of Farmington River - Collinsville. You just must go for Beaver Pond. If you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a good choice; why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Hunter Memorial Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Little City Campground if you're here at Beaver Pond; when you're here it's always fun to go to Wadsworth Falls State Park. are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while Beaver Pond nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. This lake
is so wonderful. Very striking scenery and great skiing is what you get at Mount Southington; you can run the rapids of Roaring Brook River. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rain makes Beaver Pond a pretty wet spot; of
all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Cathole Brook is in the neighborhood of Beaver Pond and is always a bliss to stop by; you can always enjoy a lazy day on the
beach at Dossin Park Beach. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are really bountiful here at Beaver Pond. Go for a hike on the Mattabesset Trail, and a great place to camp here at Beaver Pond is Camp Eagle Feather. Holiday Inn Express Hotel
& Suites MERIDEN is a tremendous place to get some rest; not far from Beaver Pond you'll locate Silver Lake which is a lovely lake. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Baldwins Pond; Cathole Mountain is wonderful and can be seen from here.
