Beaver Dam Lake. Mountain Workshop is a great campground nearby, and you can spend the day on the beach at Pleasure Beach.
In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Norwalk River, and
there's fine hiking along the Quinnipiac Trail. One of the best things about Beaver Dam Lake is its proximity to Long Beach, and nice hiking is available along the Regicides Trail. Any time is a nice time at Beaver Dam Lake if you
love the outdoors. A wooded vicinity right next door to Beaver Dam Lake is Roosevelt Forest, and Indian Well State Park is a tremendous place to explore.
At Beaver Dam Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the
