Near Beardsley Pond you come across the Elbow Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and a fine site for whitewater paddling is Housatonic River. Beardsley Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; the month with most of the rain is May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a wonderful lake called Mudge Pond near Beardsley Pond, and a brilliant close by hotel is Blackberry River Inn. But wait, there's more to do
