A tour to Caumsett State Park when you're here at Bear Rock Pond is a good idea, and why not camp at Soundview Sports while you're here at Bear Rock Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; McManus Lake is a lake that's right next door to Bear Rock Pond, and nothing beats kicking back at West Beach. The       peak of Webbs Hill can be seen from Bear Rock Pond, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Thunder Ridge. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There's whitewater on Norwalk River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and if you're here you can play some golf at E Gaynor Brennan Municipal Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Stamford Plaza Hotel and CC; not far from Bear Rock Pond you'll                  stumble on Attschul Pond which is a lovely lake. Bear Rock Pond is a location with many visitors from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, and Cummings Park Beach is a beach close by that you can stop at. If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Bear Rock Pond. High temperatures at Bear Rock Pond through the summertime are in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
