There's so much to do here at Beach Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Circle C Campground is a nice place for that. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff near Beach Pond. If you need a location to stay Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods is a wonderful choice; why not stop at nearby Bliven Brook since you're here at Beach Pond. What a spot this is for outdoors people. What would winter be without       some skiing at Yawgoo Valley, and if you get bored of Beach Pond you could also visit nearby Mason-Gray Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail close to Beach Pond called the Narragansett Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Beach Pond has to offer, you can camp at Natures Campsites. A pleasant close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PLAINFIELD; paddling on Quinebaug River is so much fun. This lake is                  so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you have to schedule some time for it since you're here, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary locations, take a look at Erickson Wildlife Marsh since you're here at Beach Pond. Much precipitation falls at Beach Pond; November is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Wiclcabouet Marsh is a nearby lake that you could take a look at; lots of people from Willimantic come here. Hopeville Pond State Park is a great site to go if you're at Beach Pond, and going for a hike on the Border Trail is always a good adventure. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Beach Pond with overnight lows in the 50's.
