If you need a spot to stay Sharon Motor Lodge is a wonderful choice, and Taconic State Park Rudd Pond is a delightful local campground. Blackberry River Inn is a magnificent location to get some rest, and Lorenzo Pond is a splendid lake close by. During the summertime months at Bauer Pond highs are generally in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Bauer Pond.

| | This lake is so wonderful. On a delightful day you get a view of Mount Easter from Bauer Pond, and Housatonic River is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. The skiing at Ski Butternut is wonderful. So many cool things next to Bauer Pond, just phenomenal. You're sure to run into some nice folks from Torrington here; do take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. like skiing, you're in luck; Mohawk Mountain is close to Bauer Pond, and a beautiful lake like Lake Tavolan is a splendid spot to check out. Housatonic Meadows State Park is a brilliant place, and Red Rocks is an attention-grabbing
place to stop by while at Bauer Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Housatonic Meadows State Park is a fine place to camp; hiking along the Elbow Trail is nice fun. Hit the beach if you want, Mudge Pond Town Beach is practically
right here, and going for a hike along the Indian Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course near Bauer Pond is Canaan Country Club, and there's always Lake Tayolan
Dam to go to in close proximity to Bauer Pond. Bauer Pond is a good place of common precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May; February meanwhile is the driest month.
