Bashan Lake is a nice lake to visit. At Bashan Lake you can distinguish Bald Hill; if you've had enough of Bashan Lake, Cone Pond is close by. If you need a spot to stay Executive Inn and Suites Old Saybrook is a perfect choice, and Bashan Lake is not the only location nearby, Moodus Reservoir is a nearby lake. | | whitewater; don't forget to take a magnificent little spree to Molley Brook. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Old Saybrook, and if you came for an overnight stay Devil's Hopyard State Park is a perfect location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to Bashan Lake wouldn’t be complete without a trip to nearby Gillette Castle State Park, and Wolf's Den Family Campground is a glorious local campground. is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. All through the days of summer at Bashan Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the
wintertime are in the 30's, and nighttime lows during the wintertime for Bashan Lake tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Roaring Brook River.
A golf course near Bashan Lake is Fox Hopyard Golf Club, and at Bashan Lake Dam right next door to Bashan Lake there are some exciting things to see.

Odetah Campground
 | 18 miles away I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow.... |
