     Bartlett Pond is right by the West Woods Trail, and Bartlett Pond is a glorious location to visit for more than one day, Little City Campground is a glorious location to camp nearby. The Washington Trail offers hiking at its best, and float down the rapids of Hammonasset River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps don’t sound that wonderful but Cedar Swamp right next door to Bartlett Pond is relatively wonderful; Pond Brook is one of the streams nearby  
   that might be worth checking out. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Bartlett Pond. A trip to Chatfield Hollow State Park when you're here at Bartlett Pond is a glorious idea; dry warm beds await you at Tower Inn and Suites.
This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Guilford is a brilliant choice, and at Bartlett Pond you can distinguish Cranberry Hill. Any time is a pleasant time at Bartlett Pond if you love the
 
               outdoors. This is a great region for folks who like lakes. Dudley Pond is a lake around here, and a round of golf at nearby Guilford Lakes Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. Through the summertime months at Bartlett Pond temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Bartlett Pond night low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's.
You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Powder Ridge while you're here; why not stop by Laurelwood Pond Dam since you're here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bartlett Pond; Mattabesset Trail is a great local trail, and lots of folks from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford come here. Hammonasset Beach State Park is a nice local campground. Lakes are nice; Laurelwood Pond is a lake that's near Bartlett Pond.
Bartlett Pond frequently gets a lot of rainfall; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, Roaring Brook River offers some great whitewater.
