     You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Pakovitch Ponds Number 1 near Barbers Pond; Hop Brook Dam is a beautiful place. The high level of rainfall makes Barbers Pond a rather wet place; during August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Barbers Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High  
   temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Barbers Pond drop into the 10's. Get your heart pumping on the magnificent whitewater of Bantam River, and if you came to camp Black Rock State Park is a good site to do that.
This lake is so wonderful. There is a nice hiking trail near Barbers Pond called the Naugatuck Trail, and a quick visit to Hop Brook is certainly a magnificent
 
               idea. While you're here at Barbers Pond, you could also take a look at stunning Hop Brook Lake, and the slopes of Mount Southington are so inviting noone can resist. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Waterbury; you'll meet a lot of people from New Haven-Milford here.
Yeah, come here to Barbers Pond for a good time. Golf Club at Oxford is a great golf course close by; don't leave without visiting Southford Falls State Park. This place, Barbers Pond, it completely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Near Barbers Pond you find the Mattatuck Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; everybody nearby loves skiing at Woodbury.
A perfect spot for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Barbers Pond is Farmington River - Collinsville; here at Barbers Pond you can catch a sight of Andrews Hill. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Barbers Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Branchbrook Campground is a magnificent place for that; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Naugatuck is a delightful choice.
