Barbers Pond is always a pleasure to visit. Lakes are glorious; Baummer Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Barbers Pond; float down the rapids of Farmington River - Collinsville in a kayak. Everybody loves Southford Falls State Park. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Barbers Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Rock State Park. Hop Brook Dam is worth stopping at since you're here, and a quick trip to Hop Brook is without doubt

two. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the vicinity of Barbers Pond. While you're here at Barbers Pond you can play some golf at Golf Club at Oxford. If you're dropping by Barbers Pond from New Haven-Milford,
you won't be the only one; Barbers Pond is right by the Mattatuck Trail. The snow is wonderful at Mount Southington, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Naugatuck Trail. During the warmest time of the year at Barbers
Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Barbers Pond tend to be in the 10's.
