Get yourself into a kayak and hit Shepaug River; if you want to hit the beach, Litchfield Town Beach is close by. A day on the slopes of Mohawk Mountain is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Tollgate Hill Inn. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; Bantam River Reservoir has it all. On a glorious day it's a great idea to spend the day at Morris Town

It's a wonderful idea to stop at Bizell Brook, it's in the neighborhood of Bantam River Reservoir, and No Mans Land Swamp is a swamp near Bantam River Reservoir. Bantam River Reservoir gets a good deal of water; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. an overnight stay Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a good place to camp. Bantam Project Dam is not far at all from Bantam River Reservoir, and if you need a place to stay The Mayflower Inn & Spa is a magnificent choice. This
is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. From Bantam River Reservoir you obtain a good sight of Barney Hill, and obviously, everybody loves Mt. Tom State Park. There are other spots here than Bantam River Reservoir, for
example Lake Floren; get wet paddling on Bantam River. At Bantam River Reservoir during the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the
30's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Bantam River Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Keeler Cove is not far from Bantam River Reservoir at all, and if you're here and you like golf,
you can check out Stonybrook Golf Course. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Mattatuck Trail; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Woodbury is quite near. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Bantam Lake is in close proximity, and there are plenty of people from Torrington here at Bantam River Reservoir.
