Bantam Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. One of the best things about Bantam Lake is its proximity to Morris Town Beach, and you can hit the slopes at Woodbury close at hand. You can run the rapids of Shepaug River right next door to Bantam Lake, and Duck Pond is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Bantam Lake; the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, usually in the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Bantam River for all you adrenaline people; when you're here it's always fun to take a look at Mt. Tom State Park. A good swamp next to Bantam Lake is
