The beauty of Bantam Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Days Inn - Torrington is a tremendous place to get some rest; a wonderful place for whitewater paddling is Shepaug River. Summertime at Bantam Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Bantam Lake tend to be in the

| | 10's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Bantam Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. On a delightful day at Bantam Lake you can take a hike along the Mattatuck Trail, and swamps don’t sound that perfect but Bantam Swamp right next door to Bantam Lake is reasonably perfect. While you're here at Bantam Lake, you could also pop by beautiful Duck Pond; get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater | |

of Bantam River. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Bantam Lake you can take a hike along the Mattatuck Trail; Mohawk Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. Keeler Cove is in the neighborhood of Bantam
Lake and is a splendid place to check out, and time spent at Morris Town Beach is always perfect. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Bantam Lake has it all. If you're stopping by Bantam Lake from Torrington, you won't
be the only one, and Bizell Brook is close to Bantam Lake and is always a bliss to take a look at. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. Bantam Project Dam is not far at all from Bantam Lake, and you can stay the
night at Cozy Hills Campground. At Bantam Lake you can distinguish Apple Hill; Mt. Tom State Park is a good location to stop by on a lovely day. This lake is so wonderful. Bantam River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could
go to, and you can hit the slopes at Woodbury nearby. There is a glorious hiking trail close to Bantam Lake called the Naugatuck Trail. During your stay at Bantam Lake do pop by close by Litchfield Town Beach, and Bantam Lake
is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Looking Glass Hill Campgrounds is a nice spot to camp nearby. While you're here at Bantam Lake you can play some golf at Stonybrook Golf Course, and a pleasant close by hotel is Tollgate Hill Inn.
