     A magnificent place for whitewater paddling near Banks Pond is Norwalk River, and dry warm beds await you at The Inn at National Hall. A lake nearby is Bulkley Pond, and not far from Banks Pond you obtain some pleasant water scenery at Buckley Pond Dam. Banks Pond is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Mountain Workshop is a good spot to camp nearby; at Banks Pond you can see Catamount Hill. All the water falling down from the sky makes Banks Pond a wet  
   place; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February.
All through the summertime months at Banks Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and overnight lows at Banks Pond through the winter generally sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Sail Caribbean; you can spend the day on the beach at Southport Beach. This
 
               lake is so wonderful. Great Brook is a great location to pop by; Westport Inn is a delightful site to get some rest.
Time spent at Burial Hill Beach near Banks Pond is always fine. You completely ought to have a thing about Banks Pond. Lots of folks from Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk come to Banks Pond, and Sherwood Island State Park is a beautiful place any time of year. Playing golf is lots of fun at Twin Links at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course, and Banks Pond is not the only spot nearby, Sherwood Millpond is a nearby lake.
