Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like River Ridge Golf Course, and do explore Cote Pond, it's a delightful lake. Stoddard Hill State Park is a delightful place to stretch your legs a bit, and dry warm beds await you at Courtyard Norwich. You can run the rapids of Quinebaug River in close proximity       to Baltic Reservoir; there are plenty of people from Norwich-New London here. Summer at Baltic Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Baltic Reservoir. The high level of precipitation makes Baltic Reservoir a pretty wet location; the month with most of the rain is November, and February on the other hand                  is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Colegrove Hill is trouble-free to spot from Baltic Reservoir, and Salt Rock Family Camping is a good local campground. There's whitewater on Natchaug River for all you adrenaline junkies, and the Narragansett Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Deer Haven Campground LLC is a pleasant campground nearby, and some of the water close by flows, like Adams Brook.
