It's always fun to stop by Ball Pond. A glorious spot like Squantz Pond State Park in the vicinity of Ball Pond is too delightful to leave out; a perfect nearby hotel is Hilton Garden Inn Danbury. A great place for whitewater paddling close to Ball Pond is Tenmile, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Ball Pond.

| | through May, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Lost Lake; there are plenty of folks from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here at Ball Pond. High temperatures at Ball Pond throughout the summertime are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 30's, and night lows at Ball Pond all through the winter frequently | |

This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Pine Ledge is close at hand, naturally you could also take a look at East Lake Reservoir if you're here; it's not far at all. If you need a place to
stay Maron Hotel & Suites is a tremendous choice, and you can stay the night at Buck's Rock Camp. Kettletown State Park is a glorious campground nearby, and East Aspetuck River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby.
Any time is
a good time at Ball Pond if you have a thing about the outdoors. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Thunder Ridge, and why not take a little visit to Gerow Brook while you're here. Richter Park Municipal Golf Course is a good golf course close by, and the vista of Beaver Bog Mountain is wonderful.
