A tremendous beach close to Baldwins Pond is Dossin Park Beach; after a long day outdoors Residence Inn Meriden is a fine place to spend a night or two. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Powder Ridge if you're here, and you're possibly keen on lakes, Bradley Hubbard Reservoir is one of those close by. is February. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Good hiking is available along the Washington Trail, and Camp Eagle Feather is a delightful campground nearby. Buckwheat Hill can be observed from Baldwins Pond, and dropping
by Wadsworth Falls State Park is a delightful thing to do. Man, is there a lot of exciting stuff to do near Baldwins Pond. Roaring Brook River is a nice whitewater spot near Baldwins Pond, and you'll meet a lot of people from
New Haven-Milford here. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Farmington River - Collinsville, and Baldwins Pond is a pleasant site to visit
for more than one day, Little City Campground is a pleasant site to camp nearby. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Baldwins Pond reach the 80's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Baldwins Pond dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.
