This lake       is so wonderful. Not far from Bald Hill Reservoir, you'll stumble on Balmoral Farm Pond which is a picturesque lake; you can stay the night at Black Rock State Park. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in close proximity to Bald Hill Reservoir. Lake Winnemaug Dam is worth going to while you're here, and this is a popular spot for folks from Torrington. Dry warm beds await you at Courtyard By Marriott Waterbury, and hey, Smith Pond Brook is a wonderful                  local stream. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bald Hill Reservoir; Naugatuck Trail is a great local trail; from Bald Hill Reservoir you acquire a perfect view of Bald Hill. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Bantam River offers some pleasant whitewater, and a spree to Morris Town Beach is always a brilliant idea. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Places like Black Rock State Park are fine to stop at, and there's great hiking along the Mattatuck Trail. Summer at Bald Hill Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Bald Hill Reservoir temperatures descend to the 10's. Swamps like Pecks Swamp are fun to check out, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Mount Southington.
