Bailey Pond is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Circle C Campground is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and a day on the slopes of Yawgoo Valley is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Narragansett Trail, and Great Meadow Brook Pond Dam is       a lovely site, certainly worth stopping at. Going for a hike on the Narragansett Trail is always a splendid adventure; needless to say, everybody loves Hopeville Pond State Park. Don't leave Bailey Pond without first going for a hike along the Border Trail, and at Bailey Pond you always meet someone from Willimantic. So much fun stuff to do at Bailey Pond, so little time. It's a splendid idea to check out Carson Brook, it's in the vicinity of Bailey Pond,                  and a visit to close by Upper Deep Hole is very relaxing. Bailey Pond is a pretty wet place commonly with a lot of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February. A wonderful close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites PLAINFIELD; lakes are such peaceful spots, why not take a look at Bailey Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A beautiful lake like Hazard Pond in close proximity to Bailey Pond is a great site to have a look at, and after a long day outdoors Budget Inn-Near Foxwoods is a good spot to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of Bailey Pond. Stay the night at Pine Valley RV Campground; Escoheag Hill is charming and can be observed from here. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Bailey Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's.
