This is a fine area for people who like lakes. Number Two Pond is a lake around here, and don't forget to take a pleasant little spree to Molley Brook. Babcock Pond Dam is a scenic site in the neighborhood of Babcock Pond, and swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, stop by Babcock Swamp if you're here at Babcock Pond. A lot of rainfall falls at Babcock Pond; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture.

| | This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Babcock Pond is Devil's Hopyard State Park; Executive Inn and Suites Old Saybrook is a pleasant site to get some rest. Yeah, come here to Babcock Pond for a perfect time. A brilliant location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Babcock Pond is Salmon River, and camping is available at Markham Meadows Campgrounds. by Pine Meadows Park Pond; locations like Devils Hopyard State Park are nice to have a look at. For you golfers we recommend close by Chanticlair Public Golf Course, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Old Saybrook is a perfect
choice. This lake is so wonderful. Roaring Brook River is a good whitewater spot close to Babcock Pond. At Babcock Pond during the summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's.
The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's; overnight lows all through the winter for Babcock Pond tend to be in the 10's.

Odetah Campground
 | 16 miles away I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow.... |
