This lake is so wonderful. A pretty lake like Lisbon Ice Pond close to Ayer Pond is a great place to have a look at, and let's not forget Broad Brook which is a stream that you may run into while here. Ayer Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls through November, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Good hiking is available along the Narragansett Trail, and swamps can be such attention-grabbing       locations, take a look at Cedar Swamp since you're here at Ayer Pond. Just can't get enough of Ayer Pond. Ayer Pond is a place with many visitors from Norwich-New London, and camping is available at Deer Haven Campground LLC. During the summertime at Ayer Pond highs are regularly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Ayer Pond. This                  lake is so wonderful. A golf course in close proximity to Ayer Pond is River Ridge Golf Course; the top of Bundy Hill is easily seen from Ayer Pond. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Quinebaug River. Stoddard Hill State Park is a splendid place to stop by on a gorgeous day; camping at Hidden Acres Family Campground is always a glorious experience. After a long day outdoors Americinn - Griswold, Ct is a great place to spend a night or two, and lakes are such calm sites, why not explore Bates Pond.
