After a long day outdoors Norwich Inn & Spa is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Graham Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Deer Haven Campground LLC is a tremendous site to camp, and golf can be played at River Ridge Golf Course. Why not camp at Hidden Acres Family Campground       since you're here at Ayer Pond, and you'll find a pretty lake called Shetucket River Reservoir. There's great hiking along the Narragansett Trail; why not a little side journey to Broad Brook. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Americinn - Griswold, Ct is a nice place to get some rest; Stoddard Hill State Park is both delightful and pretty. You can see Bundy Hill from Ayer Pond, and paddling on Natchaug River is so much fun. Get dripping                  wet paddling on Quinebaug River. You'll meet a lot of folks from Norwich-New London here, and swamps like Cedar Swamp are fun to pop by. Summertime highs at Ayer Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 80's.
