Avalon Farm Pond is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Very brilliant water scenery is available at Lake Elise Dam near Avalon Farm Pond, and there's whitewater on Bantam River for all you thrill seekers. Lakes are magnificent; Abbotts Pond is a lake that's next to Avalon Farm Pond, and going for a hike along the Mattatuck Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region.

This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Branchbrook Campground, and you can never
get enough of the pleasant skiing at Woodbury. All the water falling down from the sky makes Avalon Farm Pond a wet place; June is when you get the most rain here while February is usually the driest month. You'll need more than a
day to discover everything Avalon Farm Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Rock State Park, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Naugatuck Trail.
This is a great region for people who like lakes. Lake
Quassapaug is a lake nearby; nice skiing awaits you at Mount Southington. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Naugatuck is a delightful choice; the view of Bedlam Hill is pretty. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Cedar Swamp
is right close by, and Big Cove is close at hand and always tremendous to explore.
All the outdoors entertaining things close to Avalon Farm Pond will keep you coming back over and over. If you want to play some golf, you're in
luck because Golf Club at Oxford is around here, and get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Shepaug River.
