Travelodge Sturbridge is a delightful spot to get some rest, and visiting Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. This lake is so wonderful. At Ashford Lake you can catch a sight of Bucket Hill, and get wet paddling on Quaboag River. Ashford Lake is a quite       wet place commonly with a great deal of precipitation; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. Throughout the long summer days here at Ashford Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Ashford Lake                  sink into the 10's. Any time is a perfect time at Ashford Lake if you like the outdoors. If you came for an overnight stay Peppertree Camping is a good location to camp, and Ashford Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. This lake is so wonderful. Charlie Brown Campground is a glorious local campground; Ashford Lake is not the only site nearby, Harakleys Pond is a nearby lake. Dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Willington; Ashford Lake is not far at all from Willimantic.
