     There's so much to do here at Arnold Ponds that you need to camp here for a while, Wilderness Lake is a delightful location for that; Rodeway Inn Willington is a great location to get some rest. At Arnold Ponds throughout the summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Arnold Ponds temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.  
   You can run the rapids of Natchaug River right next door to Arnold Ponds. Quaboag River is a nice whitewater spot near Arnold Ponds, and do pop by Ruby Lake, it's a stunning lake.
Just can't get enough of Arnold Ponds. A beautiful lake like Foster Pond close to Arnold Ponds is a great location to have a look at, and swamps like Cedar Swamp are fun to check out. A large amount of rainfall falls at Arnold Ponds; most of the rain falls throughout May, and February
 
               is when it's the driest. Bigelow Hollow State Park is a delightful spot to explore on a wonderful day; one of the main traits of the surroundings of Arnold Ponds is Parker Mountain.
Some of the water close by flows, like Brandy Brook; after a long day outdoors Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a fine place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Halchek Pond Dam is delightful and it's right next door to Arnold Ponds, and if you came to camp Roaring Brook Campground is a tremendous place to do that.
