It's always fun to stop by Andover Lake. At Andover Lake throughout the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Andover Lake are in the 10's. Swamps can be such exciting places, explore Bear Swamp if you're here at Andover Lake, and a nice site to camp here at Andover Lake is Lake williams Campground.

| | If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Brook River, and Andover Lake Dam is not far at all from Andover Lake. So many entertaining things to do here at Andover Lake, too brilliant to be true. Salmon River is a good whitewater spot close to Andover Lake; why not camp at Waters Edge Family Campground if you're here at Andover Lake. a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May; July is when it's the driest. Gay City State Park is a great place to check out, and a beautiful lake like Holbrook Pond is a nice spot to visit. Andover Lake is a location with
many visitors from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford. Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a glorious location to get some rest, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Columbia Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry
warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn Vernon; the sight of charming Bunker Hill is great. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to Bear Swamp Brook, and since you're here and you like golf, you can go to Twin Hills Country Club.

 | THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return. Odetah Campground
 | 16 miles away I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow.... |

 | 19 miles away Im here everyday besides wensday. on wensday they give uss off. don and ann are very nice people with a very nice store and very nice overpriced things inside there very nice store. soon they will mater building the roads and hopefuly next spring will be a very nice one. they have very clean and large sites and never are all the sites full so dont let them tell you there booked. if your looking for a nice peaceful time come durring the normal weekends but if your looking for lots of action well come on the major weekends. if your have any teens bring them because there are lots of very nice children in a drug-free enviroment. we have been her since the begining of time and for some reason where still here! the speed limits 5mph but I drive at around 12mph shhh.... |
