High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Andover Lake are in the 10's. Swamps can be such exciting places, explore Bear Swamp if you're here at Andover Lake, and a nice site to camp here at Andover Lake is Lake williams Campground.       If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Roaring Brook River, and Andover Lake Dam is not far at all from Andover Lake. So many entertaining things to do here at Andover Lake, too brilliant to be true. Salmon River is a good whitewater spot close to Andover Lake; why not camp at Waters Edge Family Campground if you're here at Andover Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Andover Lake                  a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is May; July is when it's the driest. Gay City State Park is a great place to check out, and a beautiful lake like Holbrook Pond is a nice spot to visit. Andover Lake is a location with many visitors from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford. Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center is a glorious location to get some rest, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not pop by Columbia Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Howard Johnson Express Inn Vernon; the sight of charming Bunker Hill is great. This lake is so wonderful.
