After a long day outdoors Hilltop Inn and Suites is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and Countryside Campground is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. From Anderson Pond you acquire a wonderful vista of Barns Hill, and during your visit here you'll meet some people from Norwich-New       London for sure. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the neighborhood of Anderson Pond has to offer. Quinebaug River is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Anderson Pond, and Anderson Pond is a delightful place to visit for more than one day, Highland Orchards Resort Park is a delightful place to camp nearby. Ashwillet Brook is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and while you're here, you could also                  explore charming Blue Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Quinebaug & Shetucket Rivers Valley National Heritage Corridor, you must schedule some time for it while you're here, and an afternoon playing golf at River Ridge Golf Course is always a joy.
