The warmest time of the year at Amston Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Amston Lake dip into the 10's. If you       came for an overnight stay Waters Edge Family Campground is a great place to camp; there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline junkies. Amston Lake commonly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July. Camping is available at Lake williams Campground, and a beautiful lake like Robinson Pond is a pleasant spot to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty                  of people from Norwich-New London here at Amston Lake. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Chanticlair Public Golf Course, and a splendid nearby hotel is Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center. Amston Lake in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Mint Brook flows through this region, and places like Devils Hopyard State Park are pleasant to visit.
