     Very wonderful water scenery is available at Amston Lake Dam near Amston Lake, and you'll come across a wonderful lake called Williams Pond. The warmest time of the year at Amston Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are frequently in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Amston Lake dip into the 10's. If you  
   came for an overnight stay Waters Edge Family Campground is a great place to camp; there's whitewater on Salmon River for all you adrenaline junkies. Amston Lake commonly gets a large amount of precipitation; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is July.
Camping is available at Lake williams Campground, and a beautiful lake like Robinson Pond is a pleasant spot to visit. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty
 
               of people from Norwich-New London here at Amston Lake. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Chanticlair Public Golf Course, and a splendid nearby hotel is Nathan Hale Inn And Conference Center.
Amston Lake in fact is in the middle of a scenic outdoors paradise. Mint Brook flows through this region, and places like Devils Hopyard State Park are pleasant to visit. You can run the rapids of Natchaug River next to Amston Lake, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Regent Inn is a splendid choice.

THe fishermen aren't nice here, especially in the Fly fishing area, we caught a lot of heck from them last year. MAde the trip no fun, I won't return. I am staying at odatah camp ground as I write this thay have wi-fi which is great. This is our first time here and we love it. we will be comming back many more times. We are staying in a nice cabin, but thay have very good camp sites as well. are cabin has a fridge,doubble bed,three twin beds but the (twins are a little narrow). This morning we played horseshoes Yhe seasonal campers were very under standing of are unfamiliarity with the game and had a wonderful time.we then went swimming in the lake. that was great. we then went in the pool and the hottub. hottub was nice and big. we then played shuffleboard and went to a barbeque(exellent ribs)and listen to a very good band. All in one day. can't wait for tomorrow....

This is a nice little lake for fishing. Use minnows and you'll catch a lot of pickerel and bass. Worms bring in copious amounts of bluegill. It's a C/R lake....
