    It's always fun to stop by Addison Pond. Addison Pond is a brilliant spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Eagle Feather is a brilliant spot to camp nearby; why not take a little journey to Wildcat Brook since you're here. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Hills Pond, and a tour here wouldn’t be complete without a trip to close by Dinosaur State Park. Addison Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the  
   rain falls all through May, and the driest month is February.
This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Addison Pond and you like golf, you can pop by Minnechaug Golf Course; a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn East Hartford,Ct. Not far from Addison Pond you get some brilliant water scenery at Addison Pond Dam, and if you come at the right time of year, Salmon River offers some great whitewater.

Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Mattabesset Trail; you're sure to stumble upon some wonderful people from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford here. This lake is so wonderful. Bush Hill is easy to spot from Addison Pond, and hey, Gotta ski right? Powder Ridge is a tremendous site to do that. Going for a hike along the Metacomet Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you need a place to stay Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury is a tremendous choice.
If the weather is perfect here at Addison Pond, you can go for a hike along the Washington Trail; Nelson's Family Campground is a great campground nearby. Any time is a glorious time at Addison Pond if you adore the outdoors. This is a delightful vicinity for folks who like lakes. Caiglo Pond is a lake in the vicinity, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Roaring Brook River. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Addison Pond, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Addison Pond are in the 10's.
