Addison Pond is a lake worth visiting. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Roaring Brook River, and camping at Addison Pond is great fun, Markham Meadows Campgrounds is a great local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Days Inn East Hartford, and the slopes of Powder Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the long summer days at Addison Pond highs are typically in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. a quite wet place generally with a good deal of precipitation; May is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. During your visit to Addison Pond you'll meet some people
from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford for sure, and Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury is a good spot to get some rest. If you came for an overnight stay Nelson's Family Campground is a pleasant spot to camp, and some
nearby water includes Wildcat Brook. If you're here at Addison Pond and you like golf, you can check out Minnechaug Golf Course; there are some nice whitewater spots on Salmon River. Very brilliant water scenery is available at
Addison Pond Dam in close proximity to Addison Pond, and a spree to Dinosaur State Park invigorates the spirit. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Addison Pond. There is a good hiking trail next to Addison Pond called the Metacomet Trail; Buckland Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
